Heat exchanger is a kind of equipment for heat energy conversion and waste heat utilization, which is widely used in chemical plants, power plants and petrochemical enterprises. During the heat exchange process of cooling water, the chilled water absorbs the heat of cooling water, which makes its temperature rise. At this time, the calcium bicarbonate and magnesium bicarbonate originally dissolved in water will precipitate CO2 under the action of temperature, and form CaCO3 and MgCO3 slightly soluble in water. As the solubility of CaCO3 and MgCO3 decreases with the increase of temperature and crystallizes from water. When these crystals are continuously deposited on the surface of heat exchanger, hard scale will be formed. This not only affects the heat exchange efficiency, but also increases energy consumption. In serious cases, it will shut down due to insufficient cooling water flow and pressure drop. Therefore, the heat exchanger must be operated after using for a period of time clean. At present, in the cleaning of industrial heat exchanger, most enterprises generally use high-pressure cleaning machine for cleaning.

       High pressure cleaning machine The generated high-pressure water is transported to the high-pressure nozzle of rigid spray gun or flexible gun through high-pressure hose. Because the diameter of high-pressure nozzle is much smaller than that of high-pressure pipeline, the water arriving at high-pressure nozzle must be accelerated to pass through the nozzle. In this way, the nozzle can transform high-pressure and low-speed water into low-pressure and high-speed jet. The high-pressure water jet smashes the saline alkali structure in the tube by the combined action of stamping, wedge splitting and shearing, and discharges the scale from the pipe hole through the push-pull action of the fluid, thus completing the cleaning task. Special attention should be paid to the fact that the high-pressure water jet must shoot the scale directly before the scale can be broken. Therefore, no matter how long the tube is, the length of the spray gun must be. Otherwise, the dirt will not be destroyed by the fluid scouring after hitting the pipe wall. Because the velocity of the fluid is very small, its kinetic energy is not enough to break the dirt.

Cleaning method of heat exchanger with high pressure cleaning machine

    First, remove the head and tail of the heat exchanger to expose all the tubes. Then, insert the rigid spray gun or flexible high-pressure spray gun into the pipe hole 200-300 mm away. Open the spray gun control valve to pressurize the high-pressure water until it reaches the rated pressure. Then, during the cleaning process, push the spray gun to the deep part of the pipe step by step until the high-pressure water jet ejects from the other end of the heat exchanger. After that, the operator slowly draws back the spray gun in the working state, and the scale continues to be broken until the spray gun is pulled back to the nozzle when it is sent in, and then the scale is gradually discharged from the pipe. After that, the same method is used to clean the tubes one by one until the tube side of the whole heat exchanger is cleaned.
  
The shell side cleaning is generally to arrange the nozzle on the device fed by the mechanical arm, align the nozzle with the longitudinal and horizontal gaps between the tubes, and clean the dirt between the tubes along the longitudinal direction while moving the device, until the dirt in all the gaps between the tubes is cleaned, so as to complete the cleaning of the shell side of the heat exchanger.
